Mayer is a city in Carver County, Minnesota. It can be found along the South Fork of the Crow River, about 35 miles west of downtown Minneapolis. State Highway 25 serves as a main route in the community. State Highway 7 is in close proximity to the city. The population was 1,749 at the 2010 census.
